Manteca Park Golf Course

This 18-hole course features 6,466 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Rated at 70.7 with a slope rating of 119 on Bermuda grass, the course was originally designed by Jack Fleming and opened in 1966. Walking the course, it’s just over a 3-hour experience and guests say that it’s an amazing public course that’s both well kept and relatively affordable. It’s also an ideal place to practice your putting and driving range.

Spring Creek Golf & Country Club

With five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels, bentgrass greens, and predominantly Bermuda grass fairways—Spring Creek was truly designed for everyone to enjoy. Situated along the Stanislaus River, you’ll also appreciate the valley oaks, evergreens, and variety of deciduous trees that decorate the course—in addition to neighboring orchards. Plus water features and other lateral hazards create an added challenge.

Located in the city of Ripon, on the outskirts of town, there is a beautiful park-like atmosphere surrounding the course. And if you’re on the search for over 55 communities in the Bay Area, Del Webb’s upcoming Del Webb at River Islands is only 20 minutes away.

Jack Tone Golf

A newer one for this list, this 18-hole course opened in 1997. Designed by George Buzzi and family-owned and operated, Jack Tone caters to golfers of all skill levels for both play and practice. On this course, you’ll find an all-grass driving range and 10,000 square foot practice putting green, in addition to professional instructors on staff. Located in Ripon, California features 3,715 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 62. The course rating is 58.8 with a slope rating of 88 on bluegrass.
